Arcanine G

About card:
Arcanine G is part of the supreme victors expansion. It is a fire type with 90hp, a pokebody and one attack. Arcanine's poke-body makes it's retreat cost 1 less for each fire energy attached, this could be useful in competitive play. Arcanine G's attack move does 40 damage to the defending pokemon and 20 to a benched pokemon.

Artwork:
I do like the artwork on this card but it's not a stand out,  and I do like how it looks like arcanine's jumping out of the card but I am not a huge fan of 3d artwork on pokemon cards. Overall the artwork on this card is okay, not bad but not that good either, but this card could be very helpful in competitive play.

Sabrina

About card:
Sabrina is a trainer card from the Gym challenge expansion. Sabrina has the ability to swap energy cards between pokemon with sabrina in their name. This card was one of the first holo trainer cards made. I would not recommend this card for competitive play since sabrina pokemon cards aren't very strong and this card is useless without them.

Artwork:
I have always loved the artwork on this card, and the fact that it's a early trainer holo makes it better. This card remains to be my favorite trainer card of all time. In the card sabrina looks exactly how she should psychic and mind boggling with help from the beautiful purple background.

Ooyama's Pikachu

About card:
Ooyama's pikachu is a very rare card and was part of the vending machine card collection. This card was never translated to english and is definitely not recommended for competitive play. The card is named after it's illustrator Kouichi Ooyama.

Artwork:
I love the artwork for this card, it's so different to any other pokemon card. I liked how it appears to be hand drawn and how it looks similar to a drawing in a childrens book.

Surfing Pikachu

     About card:
Surfing pikachu was first released in 1997 as a wizards black star promo card. Since the there have been different variants of the card such as the mt. fuji surfing pikachu card. Surfing pikachu is a basic pokemon with 50hp, a rock weakness no resistance and a retreat cost of one colourless. It has one move which is surf. Surf requires 2 water energy's and causes 30 damage. I would not recommend this card for competitive play because it only has one attack and has a low amount of hp.

     Artwork:
I really like the artwork on this card because it's simple and I like the cartoony style. Many pokemon cards in recent year's have been overdoing the artwork with too many colours and 3d artwork so it's nice to see a good old classic pokemon card art style.
